Archer Studios

Our studio is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia.  We work with wood, metals, glass,and just about anything else we can get our hands on!

In our shop now, you’ll find a variety of hand-crafted wood items that are made of mostly recycled materials that are chosen for their unique grain and texture. We combine various species of wood to obtain the maximum visual impact.

Whenever possible, we strive to use reclaimed or recycled  materials in all our work.  This means that most of our offerings use materials that have been reclaimed from other work, or even from the garbage!  Any slight irregularities that may appear are the result of this recycling process, and we think it says a lot about who we are.

We do mostly custom design work.  Everything from cabinets, to interior design, to speciality furniture items and commissioned lighting.  Tim Archer, our Resident Designer and Architect, also does architectural consultations.  These projects are usually very broad in scope, and are examined on a case by case  basis.

We do offer a small variety of goods for sale on etsy, you can see them here. Most of these items are made from leftover materials and goods we have yet to use in major projects.  And, of course, they’re made from mostly recycled or reclaimed materials, as well.
